About Microgenetica
Microgenetica is a legally registered and fully compliant cannabis seedbank, operating in accordance with current regulations. All shipments are secure and fully trackable, both across the European Union and worldwide, ensuring reliability, transparency, and peace of mind for our customers.
Founded in 2015 in Amsterdam, Microgenetica is an independent seedbank with Italian roots, created by Stefano Lillo, breeder, grower, geneticist, and cannabis activist with extensive hands-on experience in cannabis genetics and cultivation.
The project was born from the need to preserve, study, and evolve cannabis genetics, following a philosophy centered on genetic selection, line identity, and phenotypic diversity. Our mission is to provide authentic, high-quality cannabis genetics for collectors, developed through years of internal research, testing, and experimentation.
Cannabis Genetics Research & Craft Breeding
Microgenetica specializes in the creation and selection of unique cannabis hybrids, treating phenotypic diversity as a core value, not a flaw to eliminate. Every step of the breeding process—from genetic selection and stabilization to testing and seed preparation—is performed entirely by hand, ensuring full control, consistency, and craftsmanship.
Each strain is produced in limited-edition, closed-number batches, with a fixed quantity of seeds released per edition. Genetics from previous releases are never reproduced identically. Remaining material is used exclusively for further research, selection cycles, and experimental projects, driving the continuous evolution of future cannabis lines.

Alongside his breeding work, Stefano Lillo has been deeply involved in applied research, education, and innovationwithin the cannabis sector. His work includes the exploration of advanced cultivation techniques, extraction methods, and innovative cannabis-derived products.
He has collaborated with some of Amsterdam’s most renowned coffee shops, participated in interviews and projects focused on experimental strains, special extracts, and unconventional cannabis products, and has served as a speaker and instructor for the Italian Cannabis Business School, contributing to a more professional and informed cannabis culture.
